A Word of Prayer on I-1639 Dedicated to Veronica J. Rutledge

Heidi speaks to recent Washington State I-1639, and compares gun violence in Washington State and South Carolina. Here is the full text of this controversial new law:

Constitutional rights are best protected when we act responsibly, and Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich in Spokane County, Washington is to be commended as is Sheriff Mike Crenshaw in Oconee County, South Carolina.

Heidi also remembers the beautiful life of Mrs. Veronica J. Rutledge, which was cut short by a tragic violation of gun safety involving a loaded gun left in her gun purse 31 December 2014. May she rest in peace and her life serve as a reminder to all the world to practice gun safety.

If you don’t have your weapon on your person, you don’t have control of it. Heidi advises caution when using a gun purse, and counsels that it’s best not to use one at all. If you have no control of your weapon on your person to be concealed responsibly, keep it unloaded and locked up. Every time we fail to teach gun safety we give ammo to those who prefer gun control to self control.
