Tribute to Caregivers who Die in the Line of Duty

Good morning.

I am sure I could not say this better than our friends at www.iava.org, so with that in mind, here is the full text to honor the memory of those who died helping Veterans at the Pathway Home, Christine Loeber, Executive Director, Dr. Jen Golick, a therapist, and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales, a psychologist:

IAVA Tribute to Pathway Home Caregivers

Veterans and their Caregivers should be the first to be considered for social services, yet often, we are last. While as an elected Libertarian I will always prefer business to bureaucracy, I will always work with available resources be they private or public.

Instead of playing the blame game, let’s all get involved to support those who sacrifice their lives for our freedom. If caring for Veterans brings you joy, then join this movement now.

Rest In Peace Pathway Home Heroes, Christine Loeber, Dr. Jen Golick, and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales. May your death not be in vain, and may it never be an excuse to stop caring for Veterans. You did what gives you joy, and our Veterans did what gives us freedom, even when our system fails.
